One of the old, Gomes family guesthouses in the Burle Marx Park has been restored and is now the Folklore Museum. This institution promotes the city’s and region’s folklore, with activities, meetings and exhibitions that support and encourage folklore groups. It has a folklore library, videos, photographs and recordings of popular gatherings, civic and religious festivals, and so on.
